Surreal Rigs Custom Desktop Computer Warranty
Surreal Rigs guarantees to the original purchaser that any Surreal Rig branded desktop computer will be free of defects in workmanship and materials for the 2-year limited warranty period.
This Warranty Excludes
•Non-Surreal Rig branded hardware products and accessories e.g., monitors, speakers, and input devices purchased or included as accessories at the time of sale.
•Software, including the operating system, any value-added software or other third party software included or otherwise purchased at the time of sale.
•Product that has been damaged by actions that are beyond Surreal Rig’s control. Otherwise known as “acts of god”, examples include impacts, liquids, fire, flood, wind, earthquake, lightning or similar disaster, war, strike, epidemic, destruction of production facilities, riot, insurrection or material unavailability.
•Product that has been damaged through the attachment of peripheral devices, end-user misuse, negligence, abuse or mishandling, including without limitation, unauthorized modification of the system as a whole or any individual component, the unauthorized servicing of Surreal Rigs branded hardware, and/or over-clocking of system memory, graphics card, or CPU.
•Product with missing, altered, or illegible Identification Tags
•Product for which Surreal Rigs has not received payment
• Paint or finish.
To Obtain Service
The original purchaser must contact us via website, email or phone within the limited product warranty period. If a covered product is proven to be defective in workmanship or materials, Surreal Rigs will, at its option: (1) replace or repair the defective component; or (2) replace the product with a comparable product. Replacement parts will be new or refurbished/remanufactured, comparable in function and performance to the original part or product, and warranted for the remainder of the warranty period or thirty days, whichever is greater.
If we determine that the problem with the product is not covered by the limited product warranty, we will inform you of alternative solutions that may be available to you on a pay-for-service basis. Pay-for-service is determined by factors such as the cost for replacing the defective part, the cost of labor associated with such repair work, as well as any/all shipping charges that may apply.
THIS WARRANTY AGREEMENT GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT VARY FROM STATE TO STATE (OR JURISDICTION TO JURISDICTION). SURREAL RIG’S RESPONSIBILITY FOR DEFECTS IN SURREAL RIG BRANDED HARDWARE IS LIMITED TO REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT AS SET FORTH IN THE SURREAL RIGS LIMITED PRODUCT WARRANTY. ALL EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES FOR THE PRODUCT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN TIME TO THE TERM OF THE LIMITED WARRANTY PERIOD REFLECTED ON YOUR INVOICE. NO WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WILL APPLY AFTER THE LIMITED WARRANTY PERIOD HAS EXPIRED.
MOREOVER, SURREAL RIG'S AND YOUR MAXIMUM LIABILITY TO THE OTHER IS LIMITED TO THE PURCHASE PRICE YOU PAID FOR PRODUCTS OR SERVICES PLUS INTEREST AS ALLOWED UNDER THE APPLICABLE LAW. NEITHER YOU NOR SURREAL RIG WILL BE LIABLE TO THE OTHER FOR PROPERTY DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY, LOSS OF USE, INTERRUPTION OF BUSINESS, "DOWN TIME", PURCHASER'S TIME, LOSS OF USE OF RELATED EQUIPMENT, LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA OR OTHER CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, HOWEVER CAUSED, WHETHER FOR BREACH OF WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), ABSOLUTE OR STRICT LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE, OTHER THAN THOSE DAMAGES THAT ARE INCAPABLE OF LIMITATION, EXCLUSION OR RESTRICTION UNDER THE APPLICABLE LAW.
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS OR THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
How do I go about receiving service under the Surreal Rig Limited Product Warranty?

How will Surreal Rigs fix a defective, warranted product?
For all covered products, we will first attempt to diagnose and resolve the problem over the telephone or e-mail. If we determine that the problem is with a defective component covered by your warranty, we will then , at our option, either: (a) have you send your product to our repair facilities for repair or replacement; (b) send a technician to your home or place of business to replace the defective component; or (c) send you a component part to replace the defective component.
If our technical support agents determine that your product must be returned to our facilities for repair or replacement, we will issue you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number. We will then send you a shipping label for shipping your product, at our expense, to our facilities only if you use an address in the United States (excluding Puerto Rico, Hawaii, and Alaska) but outside Ohio. You must, however, return the product to us in its original or equivalent packaging within seven (7) days of the RMA number being issued. However, after seven days, the RMA number will expire, resulting in the consumer being responsible for the in-bound freight charges. We will, at our expense, return the repaired or replacement product to you.
Surreal Rigs also offers the possibility of onsite replacement of defective components. If we determine that a system component(s) should be replaced by an onsite technician, we will then send the technician along with the replacement part(s) to you and have the technician send us back the defective component(s).
NOTE: Before you ship the product(s) to us or an authorized representative, make sure to back up the data on the hard drive(s) and any other storage device(s) in the product(s). Remove any confidential, proprietary, or personal information and removable media such as floppy disks, CDs, or PC Cards. We are not responsible for any of your confidential, proprietary, or personal information; lost or corrupted data; or damaged or lost removable media.
21-Day Limited Money Back Guarantee ON SURREAL RIGS BRANDED COMPUTER SALES
We pride ourselves in the quality of the products that we engineer and sell. As a result, we offer a 21-day money back guarantee from the date of purchase on all Surreal Rigs Desktop and HTPC Models. Shipping and handling fees are not refundable. Also, at most, a twenty-one percent (21%) restocking fee may, at our discretion, be deducted from your refund or credit. To return merchandise, you must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization number. Please contact Surreal Rig’s customer service department and provide them with the invoice number and Identification Tag of the merchandise you wish to return. You must ship or drop off the merchandise within seven (7) days of receiving your RMA number. Moreover, you must also return the merchandise to Surreal Rigs in its/their original packaging, in as-new condition along with any media, documentation, and all other items that were included in the original shipment, pay inbound shipping charges, and insure the shipment or accept the risk of loss or damage during shipment which will result in you not receiving your money back.
30-Day Limited Replacement Only Return Policy ON ALL REFURBISHED COMPUTER SALES
We offer a 30-day repair guarantee from the date of purchase on all refurbished computers purchased from Surreal RIgs. This means Surreal Rigs will replace the defective part and install it at no cost to the customer. To repair the merchandise, you must have the unit diagnosed by a Surreal Rigs technician. It is then, at our discretion, to repair the unit if defects do indeed exist. The remaining warranty length is then extended double the time the unit was out for service.
If you have placed an order through our website, please contact Surreal Rig’s customer service department and provide them with the invoice number and Identification Tag of the merchandise you wish to return. You must ship or drop off the merchandise within seven (7) days of receiving your RMA number. It is then, at our discretion, to repair the unit if defects do indeed exist. This is a Limited-Warranty, therefore payment from the customer to Surreal Rigs is non- refundable.
1 Year Limited Replacement Only Return Policy ON ALL 3RD-PARTY PERIPHERALS. 3rd-Party Peripherals are defined, but not limited to, AC chargers, adapters, batteries, cameras, routers, modems, laptop cooling pads, not manufactured or assembled by Surreal Rigs, Inc. Restock fee of 20% may apply.
5-Day Limited Money Back Guarantee ON ADVANCED VIRUS REMOVAL SERVICES
All customers are protected against the reoccurrence of viruses and other malware on the computer that received Advanced Virus Repair service for a period of 5 days from the date servicing was completed. During this period, if any virus should re-materialize on said computer, virus removal will be free of charge to the customer. If in such instances a virus or other malware continues to appear on said computer after the second repair attempt, the customer will be refunded fifty percent of the current service change, minus tax. The computer will be deemed unserviceable and returned to the customer.
